Unless advised otherwise, please drive through and unload quickly without blocking access between 7-8 and then set up your space between 8-9.
No movement of vehicles will be allowed onsite between 8.00 am and 2.00 pm. Exit at the end of the day between 2-3 pm.
Please do not pack up before closing time of 2.00pm as it disrupts the market flow and look.Anyone arriving after 8.00am will need to handcart their product into the market. Assistance may be available to help.
Anyone with inside space who wishes to, may set up between 4.00 and 5.00 pm on Saturday. It reduces pressure in the morning. Please let us know if you wish to do so. Although the inside areas will be locked at all times, Tirau Markets does not accept any liability for any loss or breakage that may occur.2. Parking: Stall holders are requested to park behind Caltex (on the corner of the main road and Okoroire Street), and/or in Okoroire Street. Do not park on the Main Road, it is a condition of our resource consent. Council noted several stallholder cars had parked on the main road during the last market.
3. Setting up: Gazebo’s will need to be weighed down. The ground will be too hard to put pegs into. Please make sure you come prepared to weigh down the gazebo.
4. ATM
There is a National Bank ATM machine located near the Caltex Service Station, 39 Main Road Tirau, on the corner Okoroire and Main Street. Please let us know office@tiraumarkets.co.nz if you have an Eftpos machine so we can note it next to your name.5.
